Intentional Outdoor Active Play- Lakeshore Mini-Grant
ELC is providing a mini grant of outdoor materials to providers who apply and then register and attend this training.
As a result of Covid, children have had a decline in outdoor activity which has resulted in a rise in children's weight. This training will be for Infant to PreK teachers and will help actively engage the children with the materials in the Mini grant by bringing learning outdoors. Part of the teacher’s job is to be an intentional partner in play and this training will include a focus on CLASS (using open-ended questions, vocabulary, and developing a deeper understanding of concepts).
*Virtual Training will be conducted between 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Use of a Computer or tablet recommeneded!
